Electromechanics Synergy Network joins the European convoy for industrial competitiveness promoted by EUROMETAL

Keeping manufacturing in Europe is not just an economic choice, but a strategic necessity to defend our industrial future.

On Monday, 7 September 2026, in Brussels, ESN will take to the streets alongside EUROMETAL for the European Industrial Competitiveness Convoy.

The reason behind this mobilization is clear: European manufacturers face massive investments to comply with the European Union’s ambitious environmental and climate targets, while finished products made with steel from outside the EU and imported into the European market often remain excluded from equivalent requirements and costs (such as quotas, trade measures, and the CBAM).

This regulatory gap penalizes those who produce in Europe, creates uneven competitive conditions, encourages relocation, and puts plants, jobs, investments, and strategic skills essential for defense, infrastructure, and the green transition at risk.
